- Strawberries Glazed in Hibiscus Vinegar
- 6 large ripe strawberries
- 2 tbsp Hibiscus Vinegar
- 2 tsps sweetener The Republic of Tea Agave Nectar, Hibiscus Simple Syrup, or Coconut Flower Sweetener
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Preparation
- Trim strawberries and cut into wedges
- Heat vinegar and sweetener over moderate heat in a saucepan
- Stir and simmer 1-3 minutes and remove from heat
- Add Strawberries to mixture, tossing to coat
- Mince mint leaves and sprinkle over strawberries
- Enjoy over a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat
