NOVATO, CALIF. (June 23, 2017) – The Republic of Tea, leading purveyor of premium teas and herbs, is thrilled to debut inventive turmeric teas at the Summer Fancy Food Show, June 25-27, in New York. With the Turmeric Stackable Tin, a trio of unique blends of organic turmeric with matcha, ginger green tea and biodynamic cinnamon, and organic Turmeric Single Sips, a creative approach to enjoying organic turmeric root powder, The Republic of Tea is raising the bar for this healthful spice.

Turmeric Stackable Tin – Turmeric, ginger and green tea have been reputed to support the body’s response to inflammation so joints, ligaments and muscles can stretch more fully,* and the Turmeric Stackable Tin features fusions of these teas and spices for every time of day – a convenient trio of organic Turmeric Matcha, organic Turmeric Ginger Green Tea and biodynamic organic Turmeric Cinnamon. Each section contains 12 round, natural tea bags.

Turmeric Matcha – Start the day with a burst of energy. Authentic Japanese matcha powder and green tea leaves provide a sustained caffeine kick and mental clarity. When mingled with the brain-boosting powers of turmeric, this new tea is designed to energize the mind and body. A touch of coconut and ginger lend a tropical note to this invigorating blend.

Turmeric Ginger – Keep your body functioning at peak performance all day with this blend of organic turmeric, ginger and green tea leaves. Both herbs are known to help support the body’s response to inflammation and promote healthy digestion. A bit of green tea will also help you push past the afternoon slump while lending a smooth finish to this bold blend. Also nice cooled and served over ice.

Turmeric Cinnamon – End the day with a caffeine-free herbal blend that is spicy on the palate and a welcome friend to the digestive system. While cinnamon can help keep blood sugar levels balanced, turmeric can help calm a stormy stomach. A touch of milk and sweetener make it a great after-dinner treat, or enjoy iced with lemon and sweetener for an herbal refresher. The spices in this herbal blend are grown by a collective of certified Biodynamic® farms in Sri Lanka committed to biodiversity and sustainability.

Turmeric Single Sips – On the heels of the recent launch and success of The Republic of Tea’s organic U•Matcha Single Sips, the organic Turmeric Single Sips are the latest iteration of this new innovation. The Turmeric Single Sips allow Citizens (customers) to enjoy premium organic turmeric root powder easily and conveniently, whether at home or on the go. The pre-measured, individual packets can be enjoyed hot, iced or even mixed into a smoothie, yogurt or oatmeal. The Turmeric Single Sips feature chai spices such as cinnamon, ginger and vanilla with turmeric powder for a slightly sweet, aromatic golden milk latte. Add the Single Sips directly to a bottle of cold water and shake, or simply stir into hot water with a fork or whisk. Each recyclable PET canister includes 14 individual Single Sip packets for a two-week supply.

“The Republic of Tea is dedicated to enriching Citizens’ lives with innovative teas and herbs that push the creative boundaries and always taste delicious,” shared Kristina Richens, Minister of Commerce at The Republic of Tea. “The three delightful organic blends in the Turmeric Stackable Tin and the unique organic Turmeric Single Sips are examples of how The Republic of Tea continues to deliver offerings that provide new ways of experiencing teas and herbs. Our latest turmeric offerings, which have anti-inflammatory properties and help support a healthy immune system, * are delightfully delicious and easy to sip every day.”

The Republic of Tea will showcase and provide tastings for a total of 22 teas at the Javits Center throughout the Summer Fancy Food Show at booth #5800. The Turmeric Stackable Tin and Turmeric Single Sips will be available at and fine natural and specialty retailers across the country August 2017.
