How to Make
- On stove top, heat water to boiling in a saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags and infuse for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Return saucepan to stove top and bring to a slow boil. Add in sugar, stirring constantly until sugar is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Simple syrup can be stored in a sealed glass container and refrigerated for up to 1 month.
Add to lemonade, sparkling water or spoon over vanilla ice cream for a special treat.
