When summer winds down and temperatures begin to drop, the desire for the warm, soul-satisfying flavors of fall begin to grow. The days begin to shorten and fireplaces are once again lit; homes are scented with spice notes and herbal layers; meals are full with newly harvested fruits and vegetables. The glimmer of excitement emerges – the holidays are coming.
So, it’s no coincidence that we’re looking forward with glee to two teas that will fit into our fall routines and enhance them every step of the way: with every sip, our thirst for a change in seasons is quenched.
The wonderful taste of pumpkin is first noticed with a sip of our Pumpkin Spice Black Tea. A warming, mouth-filling blend of spices (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice) effortlessly supports the star of this show: PUMPKIN. In the background, our finest black tea completes the taste experience. The combination is remarkably satisfying; the full-bodied flavors linger and sweeten after the last sip. A little milk makes the experience even more indulgent.
In the morning, we love our Pumpkin Spice Black Tea paired with a hearty autumn breakfast: eggs and bacon or sausages, pancakes and maple syrup; at night we pair it with all of our favorite fall desserts.
Equally invigorating is our Hot Apple Cider Tea. Again, the main attraction is front and center: each sip brings to mind a freshly picked, ripe and juicy apple with the perfect balance of autumn spices. The combination of cinnamon, orange peel, rose hips, berry leaves, ginger, cloves, lemon and a dash of cardamom are divine; you can’t help but smile with every sip. This caffeine-free tea blend feels invigorating in the morning and soothing at night.
We love this tea by itself at the end of a big autumn feast as well as paired with delicious and rich desserts.
As the days shorten, and we welcome the cooling trend of autumn, our schedules intensify — and we need every ounce of energizing sustenance and satisfaction we can get. Both of these teas provide it in ample measure without a single calorie. We hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we do as we welcome the cooler weather and the celebrations that the coming season brings!
