Featuring ethically-wildcrafted white sage, cool spearmint and red rooibos, this herbal infusion boasts a unique flavor that is unlike any other tea on the market.

We are delighted to share our coveted Clear the Mind Herb Tea with Citizens.

Uniquely Delicious Desert Sage Tea

Desert Sage Herb Tea features an aromatic blend of ethically-wildcrafted white sage, rooibos, spearmint and lemongrass. A touch of licorice and natural bergamot flavor brings added depth and subtle sweetness to this herbaceous, soothing tea.

As you sip, let your mind wander to the arid plains of the American Southwest, where white sage grows wild along the western edges of the Sonoran and Mojave deserts. Feel your spirits lift as you savor this aromatic infusion, even on the coldest and drizzliest of days.

Wellness Benefits of White Sage Tea

White sage (Salvia apiana) is a perennial low-growing shrub that is native to the hot, dry coastal sage scrub habitat of southern California and northern Baja California. The plant’s thick, pale green leaves are covered in small hairs that trigger the release of highly aromatic oils when rubbed, crushed, burned or steeped.

White sage has long been considered a sacred herb by the Native American tribes who live in these regions. It is traditionally used to purify and protect the mind, body and spirit before sacred ceremonies. White sage is also used in cooking and traditional healing practices.

Historically, white sage was used to promote wound healing, to ease sore throats and to soothe digestive troubles.* According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Plant Guide, the Cahuilla and Diegeño tribes of California used white sage to treat colds and to decrease mucous secretions of the sinuses, throat and lungs.*

White sage is rich in several anti-inflammatory and antioxidant plant compounds, including rosmarinic acid. Like most aromatic herbs, it may also provide antimicrobial benefits.*

For the best experience, delight in the beneficial essence and uniquely delicious flavor of Desert Sage Herb Tea sip by sip.
