Holiday Tea Latte Recipes
1. Gingersnap Chai Latte
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 6 oz water
- 2 Chai Tea bags
- ½ cup steamed milk
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/4 vanilla bean, scraped
- Foamed milk
- Gingersnap cookies (optional)
How to Make
- Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
- Place the chai tea bag in a large tea mug. Add heated water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove tea bag, stir in steamed milk, molasses and vanilla bean.
- Top with foamed milk and serve with gingersnap cookies.
2. Merry, Minty Latte
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 6 oz of fresh, filtered water
- 2 Peppermint Bark Tea bags
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 candy cane (optional)
How to Make
- Bring the water to a boil and steep the tea bags in a large mug for 5-7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat the milk, making sure it does not boil. Froth the milk using a French press or handheld milk frother.
- Remove the tea bags and top with the frothed milk. Garnish with a candy cane, if desired.
3. Chocolate Candy Cane Tea Latte
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 6 oz fresh, filtered water
- 2 Double Dark Chocolate Maté Tea bags
- 6 oz steamed milk or milk substitute
- The Republic of Tea Agave Nectar (to taste)
- 2 candy canes or peppermint sticks
How to Make
- Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
- Place each chocolate tea bag in a standard sized mug. Pour 3 oz. water in each mug and steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, then stir in agave nectar.
- Top with steamed milk and garnish with a candy cane or peppermint stick.
Holiday Cider Recipes
1. Holiday Mulled Tea and Cider
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice cocktail
- 1/2 sliced orange
- 1 holiday tea bag (we recommend Cardamon Cinnamon or Dream by the Fire)
How to Make
- Combine the apple cider and cranberry juice in a pot. Bring to a boil.
- Remove pot from heat. Add tea bag and orange slice and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bag and garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired.
2. Holiday Hibiscus Cider
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 12 oz apple cider
- 2 Tbsp orange juice
- 2 Natural Hibiscus Tea bags
- 1 inch knob of fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
How to Make
- Heat cider in a small saucepan to boiling.
- Put hibiscus tea bags, ginger, and cinnamon stick into an infuser and place into your favorite teapot.
- Pour the hot cider over the tea bags.
- Add orange juice. Allow to steep for 4-6 minutes.
- Remove infuser and serve.
3. Fire Cider
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1 Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Single Sips® packet
- 4 oz water
- 4 oz apple cider or juice
- 2 oz lemon juice
- 3 slices of fresh ginger, peeled
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- dash of cayenne pepper (or more if you want it spicier)
- ½ tsp honey
How to Make
- Combine all ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil.
- Stir well and serve.
Holiday Tea Mocktail Recipes
1. Festive Cranberry Punch
Servings: 10-12
Ingredients
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 10 Cranberry Spice Hibiscus tea bags
How to Make
- Place all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil
- Turn off heat and cover for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and serve warm.
- Garnish with an orange slice or cinnamon stick.
2. Matcha Mudslide
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- Chocolate syrup for glasses
- 1 U•Matcha Single Sip Packet
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish – optional)
How to Make
- Add chocolate syrup to the inside of two highball glasses with a few ice cubes.
- Add some ice, packet contents, heavy cream and vanilla into a shaker and shake until well chilled.
- Pour into the prepared glasses and top with chocolate shavings.
3. Candied Ginger Peach Punch
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- ¼ cup water
- 2 Ginger Peach Black Tea bags
- 1 Tbs. agave
- ¼ cup peach nectar (may substitute with apple juice, if needed)
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup ginger ale
- Peach slices, for garnish (optional)
How to Make
- Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
- Place tea bags into a heat-resistant container, add the water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and let cool a bit. Stir in agave nectar, peach nectar, lemon juice and ginger ale.
- Fill a large cup with ice, pour in tea.
- Garnish with fresh peach slices
