Strawberries Glazed in Hibiscus Vinegar


  • Strawberries Glazed in Hibiscus Vinegar
  • 6 large ripe strawberries
  • 2 tbsp Hibiscus Vinegar
  • 2 tsps sweetener  The Republic of Tea Agave Nectar, Hibiscus Simple Syrup, or Coconut Flower Sweetener
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish


  • Trim strawberries and cut into wedges
  • Heat vinegar and sweetener over moderate heat in a saucepan
  • Stir and simmer 1-3 minutes and remove from heat
  • Add Strawberries to mixture, tossing to coat
  • Mince mint leaves and sprinkle over strawberries
  • Enjoy over a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat
