A sip of tea is a relaxing way to savor the scents and flavors of the season. Yet, tea is often over-looked as an ingredient. This holiday season, why not enjoy your favorite teas as part of a few delicious holiday recipes like, cocktails, lattes, and more. Below are some of our favorite tea recipes for holiday sipping and entertaining:
Candied Ginger Peach Punch
Ingredients
• ¼ cup water
• 2 Ginger Peach Black Tea Bags
• 1 Tbs. agave
• ¼ cup peach nectar (may substitute with apple juice, if needed)
• 2 Tbs. lemon juice
• ½ cup ginger ale
• Peach Slices, for garnish (optional)
Preparation
1. Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
2. Place tea bags into a heat-resistant container, add the water and steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Remove tea bags and let cool a bit. Stir in agave nectar, peach nectar, lemon juice and ginger ale.
4. Fill a large cup with ice, pour in tea.
5. Garnish with fresh peach slices
Frozen Mint Matcha Latte
Ingredients
• 1 tsp of The Republic of Tea’s Matcha Powder
• 1/4 cup warm water
• 3 tsp of The Republic of Tea’s Agave Nectar
• 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, washed
• 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
• 1 cup ice cubes
Preparation
1. Mix green tea matcha powder with warm water in a bowl. Stir until completely dissolved.
2. Stir in The Republic of Tea’s Agave Nectar.
3. Add in milk and stir.
4. Add fresh mint and ice cubes and blend in a blender until smooth.
5. Enjoy Sip by Sip.

Gingersnap Chai Latte
Ingredients
• ½ cup water
• 2 Republic Chai Tea bags
• ½ cup steamed milk
• 1 Tbs. molasses
• 1/4 vanilla bean, scraped
• Foamed milk
• Gingersnap cookies (optional)
Preparation
1. Heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
2. Place the Chai tea bags in a standard sized tea mug, add heated water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
3. Remove tea bag, stir in steamed milk, molasses, and vanilla bean.
4. Top with foamed milk and serve with gingersnap cookies.
Serves 1
