Mix up some fun in your tea-sipping routine with a Strawberry Hibiscus-Rita made with premium Nigerian hibiscus and the sweet notes of ripe strawberries!
Ingredients – Makes 8 Servings
- 10 Hibiscus Strawberry tea bags
- 2 cups of boiling water
- 2 cups of ice
- 3 Tbsp of lime juice
- ⅓ cup of super fine sugar
- ½ lemon
Steep 8 tea bags in boiling water for 5-7 minutes in a heat-proof pitcher. Remove the tea bags, add the ice and lime juice and stir until mostly melted. For the sugared rim: Add sugar to a rimmed plate. Tear open the remaining 2 tea bags and mix the contents into the sugar. Rub the cut lemon on the rim of the glass and dip the glass into the sugar mixture. Repeat with more glasses.
Add ice and the cooled tea into the glasses. Add a splash of soda water and a strawberry slice into each glass, if desired.
